Charity firmly on the agenda at Hillfoot

Despite lockdown and the impact of COVID restrictions, the Hillfoot team were still able to continue with some low-key fundraising activity during 2020 for our chosen charity Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

And we were delighted to welcome Jenny Jones from the charity to our premises recently to receive a cheque for the amount we managed to raise - £475.00.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a lifesaving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across the whole of Yorkshire.

For 2021 Hillfoot will be supporting Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. The hospice cares for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short, and provides a home from home for families facing the toughest of times.

The Hillfoot team has already booked a sponsored skydive along with raffles, quizzes and dress down days. Plus they are hoping to bring back Hillfoot’s coveted annual pool competition to raise money for this deserving charity.

Thanks to Nikki and Neil for all their ongoing hard work in coordinating the activities and providing good fun for the whole team in the process.
